About Us

The foundation of D. L. Sakhare Textiles was laid by my father, Late Shri Dattoba Lachhappa Sakhare, who served as a dedicated worker in a renowned textile mill from 1960 to 1975. After 1975, he began independent job work, producing traditional cotton dhotis for farmers using power looms, supplying both local and domestic markets. In 1983, he established sixteen power looms under his ownership and commenced the production of Grey Long Cloth, which soon gained consistent demand in the domestic textile industry. Continuing his vision for innovation, in 1995, he introduced card power loom technology to produce beach towels, further solidifying the market presence of D. L. Sakhare Textiles. His journey was guided and inspired by his esteemed mentor, Shri Ramchandra Sheth, whose wisdom left a lasting impression. In 1999, I, Ambadas Sakhare, joined the family business with a strong commitment to uphold our legacy. In 2021, embracing modern technology and evolving market needs, I introduced Rapid Machines, marking a new era of efficient and quality-driven textile production at D. L. Sakhare Textiles. This remarkable journey is deeply blessed by the divine grace and the everlasting blessings of my beloved parents – Late Shri Dattoba Lachhappa Sakhare, Late Smt. Rukmini Lachhappa Sakhare, and my late elder brother Shri Laxman Sakhare. Their values, vision, and sacrifices continue to be the true foundation and driving force behind every achievement of D. L. Sakhare Textiles.
